The Flow chart is nothing more than a simple flow diagram.
These diagrams are divided into blocks and each one has a command on it.
It serves to graphically represent all the operations to be performed through an algorithm.
In this case, we are talking about a media flow chart, which is a diagram that follows the different operations that social media must perform.
How the flow chart works
The flow chart has two types of variants:
- Diagram on the operations to be performed: the representation takes place through geometric shapes such as rectangles, diamonds or circles, and each of them follows a logical meaning where inside there is a description regarding the activity to be carried out;
- Sequential diagram: indicates the sequence in which actions must be performed and they are represented by connecting arrows.
It starts with two blocks, usually round, and these are the ones that mark the beginning and the end of the diagram.
The Beginning is placed at the top of the diagram and from there, arrows start connecting the various shapes with the actions to follow.
Following the arrows that connect the different silhouettes, the actions that an algorithm must perform are outlined.
Flow chart blocks
The most commonly used blocks in a diagram are:
- Process: is represented by a rectangle and involves carrying out a mathematical action;
- Input/Output: is represented by a parallelogram. As for input, it requires entering data by the user. The Output, on the other hand, only displays the data written inside the block;
- Decision: is represented by a diamond and when the algorithm reaches the diamond, a question must be asked regarding a certain action.
Ultimately, the question can only have two answers: true or false, and for each one, the diagram may follow a path with specific processes or go back and repeat previous processes.
You can do it too, you just need a lot of commitment and an excellent marketing and sales platform.
