Coverage (or also reach) is the precise number of people who visit a web page, or view advertisements.
The different types of coverage
- Cumulative coverage: the number of individuals reached through multiple advertisements communicated by the same intermediary.
- Exclusive coverage: the number of individuals reached by a single intermediary and not by other means.
- Effective coverage: the number of individuals belonging to a target group to achieve a specific communication objective.
Examples of coverage
There are several tools for detecting coverage data:
- Facebook Insights: with this tool you will be able to analyze the views of your Facebook page.
- Instagram Insights: same procedure as Facebook, plus on Instagram you can also analyze views of stories.
