On the contrary, above the fold is the content displayed immediately when the website is opened, without the need to use the vertical scroll bar.
The ads located in the above the fold area have an optimal positioning, and therefore achieve a high CTR (Click-Through Rate) compared to those below the fold, but they come at a higher cost for advertisers.
