Convenience goods are those products for which the consumer does not invest time in searching for information about that particular product or in evaluating alternatives.

Therefore, the product must be available in as many retail outlets as possible presenting several characteristics:

  • High repurchase frequency;
  • Low search effort;
  • Low unit value.

They have a demand for basic services and are widely distributed through distribution channels that are indirect and long, using the support of media (mass communication means).
