Manage Advertising Groups (via backend menu)

Advertising groups allow you to organize video banners and define display rules (such as position and specific pages) on your website.

Procedure

1. Log in to the administration panel (backend).

2. In the main navigation menu, click on Video Advertising.

3. In the submenu that appears, click on Advertising Groups.

Creating or Editing a Group

Once the list of existing groups is displayed:

4. To create a new group, click the add button (usually labeled Create New or Add).

5. To edit an existing group, click the edit icon (usually a pencil) next to the desired group's name.

6. Within the editing screen, configure the following options (depending on your interface):

  • Name: Assign an identifying name to the group.
  • Status: Make sure the group is set as Active (is_active = 1) if you want the banners within it to be displayed.
  • Display Options: This section defines where the banner group will be shown:
  • Position: Specify where the banner will appear on the page (for example, standard).
  • Pages to include: Enter the URLs of pages where banners must be displayed (separated by commas).
  • Pages to exclude: Enter the URLs of pages where banners must not be displayed (separated by commas).
  • Also apply to child pages: Select this option if inclusion/exclusion rules should also apply to subpages of specified URLs.
  • Conditions: Set any additional marketing conditions (e.g., visible only to specific user groups).

7. After completing your changes, click the save button (e.g., Save or Save Changes) to apply the group's settings.
