TotalGest

Products, Orders, Data synchronization, Monitoring, API configuration

Description: Integrate TotalGest information and services within your Framework360 account, enabling bidirectional synchronization of crucial data such as products and orders.

What is it for? (Practical examples)

This tool is essential for those managing e-commerce and accounting/logistics on separate systems, ensuring data consistency.

  • Use it to keep your e-commerce product inventory up-to-date by automatically importing product sheets and stock availability from TotalGest.
  • Use it to automatically record all orders received on your e-commerce directly into the TotalGest management system for invoicing and logistics.
  • Use it to quickly view the synchronization status of each order or product directly in Framework360 lists.

Main Features

The TotalGest module focuses on managing and exchanging e-commerce related data.

  • Product Synchronization (TotalGest → Framework360): Automatically imports products from TotalGest. Key details such as name, descriptions, sale prices, VAT rates, product codes (SKU/EAN), and available stock quantity are synchronized.
  • Order Export (Framework360 → TotalGest): Sends completed orders from your e-commerce to TotalGest. The export includes full order details, customer billing and shipping data, payment method, and the list of purchased items.
  • Manual Order Export: In sales order lists, an option is available to select one or more orders and force their immediate sending to TotalGest. Upon completion, a report is provided with the number of successes and details of any encountered errors.
  • Status Monitoring: Adds an informational column in product and order lists clearly indicating whether the item has been successfully synchronized or is still "Not linked" to TotalGest.

How to Configure

To activate synchronization, you need to establish a connection with the TotalGest system by entering the credentials provided by your provider.

Configuration FieldDescription
Store IDThe unique identifier of your store or working environment.
Owner IDThe identifier of the owner or main user of the management system.
API EndpointThe full address (URL) of the TotalGest API service (e.g., tg00.bweb.ch).
UsernameThe username for accessing the TotalGest APIs.
PasswordThe password associated with the API user.

After entering the data, the system verifies the validity of the credentials to ensure that the connection is established correctly.

Automatic Integrations

The system manages synchronization autonomously and in the background without requiring constant manual intervention.

  • Periodic Product Synchronization: The system performs scheduled automatic operations every 5 minutes to check for and import new products or stock updates from TotalGest.
  • Data Queue Management: When a synchronization event (such as a new order) occurs, data is placed in a waiting queue. This queue is processed automatically in the background, ensuring that export to TotalGest happens efficiently without slowing down the user experience on the site.
  • Automatic Order Synchronization: Every new completed order on Framework360 is automatically added to the queue for export to TotalGest.

Key Differences

This module is specifically designed for integration with TotalGest. The E-commerce module must be active in order to synchronize products and orders.
