This guide explains how to configure rewards (such as Points or Euro Credits) that are assigned both to the user who sponsors (Sponsor) and to the user who is sponsored (Sponsored) upon reaching a specific goal.
Procedure
1. Access the Affiliation plugin settings and select the General tab.
2. Locate the Goals section and click on the box related to the action you want to reward (for example, Site Registration or Product Sale).
3. If the goal is not active, click the Activate button in the header of the box.
4. Scroll down to the Benefits section within the goal box. Here you will find two columns: one for Sponsor rewards and one for Sponsored rewards (if applicable).
Configuring Points Rewards
To configure Points assignment:
1. In the desired beneficiary section (Sponsor or Sponsored), locate the Points Assignment section.
2. In the text field, enter the numeric value of the reward you want to assign (e.g., 10).
3. Use the dropdown menu next to the value field to choose the assignment mode:
- Select Fixed to assign the exact entered value (e.g., 10 Points).
- Select % purchase (available only for scalable goals like "Product Sale") to assign a percentage of the total purchase value.
4. (Optional) In the Assignment Notes field, enter a note that will be visible to the customer.
Configuring Credits Rewards (in Euro)
To configure Credits assignment (in Euro):
1. In the desired beneficiary section (Sponsor or Sponsored), locate the Credits Assignment section.
2. In the text field, enter the numeric value of the reward you want to assign in Euros (e.g., 5.00).
3. Use the dropdown menu next to the value field to choose the assignment mode:
- Select Fixed to assign the exact entered value (e.g., 5 Euro).
- Select % purchase (available only for scalable goals like "Product Sale") to assign a percentage of the total purchase value.
4. (Optional) In the Assignment Notes field, enter a note that will be visible to the customer.
Multi-Level Rewards (Sponsor Only)
If you want to also reward higher-level sponsors (for example, sponsor’s sponsor), you can configure 2nd level rewards (and subsequent levels up to 7th):
1. Scroll down in either Points Assignment or Credits Assignment configuration for the Sponsor.
2. Locate the section related to the level you want to configure (e.g., 2nd level).
3. Check the box Enable {level} level.
4. Enter the Value to assign at {level} level and select assignment mode (Fixed or % purchase) following same steps as standard configuration.
5. Once all changes are complete, make sure to save the general plugin settings.
