Configure custom rewards (points, credits) assigned for the purchase of a specific product/service (backend)

This guide explains how to set specific rewards (points or credits) that will be assigned to sponsors when a customer they invited purchases a particular product or service.


Procedure

1. Log in to the management panel of the specific product or service (e.g., an E-commerce product, a Membership Plan, or an Event).

2. Within the product settings, look for and click on the Affiliation tab (icon <i class="fa fa-users"></i>).

3. Check the box Set custom benefits for the product.

4. (Optional) Select a Custom Beneficiary if you want the rewards to be assigned to a specific customer instead of the sponsor who brought the buyer.

5. The Custom Purchase Benefits section will open. Locate the goal Product Sale (icon <i class="fa fa-shopping-cart"></i>).

6. Click the Activate button inside the "Product Sale" box.

Reward Configuration

Inside the "Product Sale" section, you will find the reward configuration for the Sponsor.

7. Set Repeatability

  • Under the goal description, at the question Should rewards be assigned every time?, select:
  • No, apply only the first time: If the reward should be given only on the first purchase.
  • Yes, apply on every product sale: If the reward should be given every time the sponsored customer buys this product.

8. Points Assignment

In the Points Assignment column:

  • Value: Enter the number of points to assign in the dedicated field.
  • Mode: Select the calculation mode:
  • Fixed: Assigns the exact entered value.
  • % purchase: Assigns a percentage of the total purchase value of this product.
  • Assignment notes: Enter a note visible to the customer (e.g., "Bonus for purchasing Product X").

9. Credits (Euro) Assignment

In the Credits Assignment column:

  • Value: Enter the amount in credits (euros) to assign.
  • Mode: Select the calculation mode:
  • Fixed: Assigns the exact entered value.
  • % purchase: Assigns a percentage of the total purchase value of this product.
  • Assignment notes: Enter a note visible to the customer.

10. Level Configuration (Multi-level)

If your affiliation system is configured for multi-level rewards (e.g., to also reward the sponsor's sponsor):

  • Locate the section related to the level you want to configure (e.g., 2nd level).
  • Check the box Enable Xth level.
  • Configure the Value to assign at Xth level (points or credits), choosing between Fixed or % purchase.
  • (Credits only) If needed, you can set a Custom Beneficiary at Xth level different from the default second-level sponsor.

11. When finished configuring, make sure to save your product/service settings. Custom rewards will now be active for purchases of this specific item.
