This guide explains how to create a new Landing Page using the system management interface. Landing Pages are pages optimized for specific goals, often without the standard navigation menus.
Step-by-Step Procedure
To start, make sure you are in the Landing Page management section.
1. Start Creating the Page
1. Click on the Add New button (or equivalent) on the main screen to open the creation wizard.
2. "Landing page" Section (Basic Details and Content)
This is the first section of the wizard and contains the required fields to define the page.
1. Title\*: Enter the main title of your landing page. This field is mandatory.
2. Slug\*: Enter the page "slug" (the friendly URL). This field is mandatory and is automatically generated based on the title, but you can modify it if necessary.
3. Page Body: Enter the main content of the landing page.
- Important Note: The system requires that the page body content be at least 80 characters in order to save.
- Use the Visual Builder (the visual editor) that opens automatically to build the layout and insert multimedia elements.
3. SEO Section (Search Engine Optimization)
After filling in the basic details, navigate to the SEO section (usually the second tab of the wizard).
1. Fill in SEO-related fields (Meta Title, Meta Description, etc.) to optimize the page for online search.
4. "Preferences" Section
This section (usually the third tab of the wizard) allows you to configure the appearance of the page, particularly the Header and Footer.
1. Header: Select the Header block to use for this page.
- Select Hide if you want the landing page not to show the site's standard Header.
2. Footer: Select the Footer block to use for this page.
- Select Hide if you want the landing page not to show the site's standard Footer.
5. Save the Landing Page
1. After completing all mandatory fields and configuring preferences, click on the Save button (or Finish in the wizard).
2. If saving was successful, you will receive a confirmation notification. The page is now created and added to the list.
Visibility Management
After creating the landing page, you can control its visibility from the main screen (Landing Page List).
- Hide from site: Select one or more rows and use the Hide from site action (toggle-off icon) to make the page invisible to the public. Hidden pages are highlighted in red.
- Show on site: Select one or more hidden rows and use the Show on site action (toggle-on icon) to make them public again.
