This guide explains how to set up a new membership package or card within the system.
Procedure
1. Access the Card/Membership management section.
2. Click the New button (or the equivalent for creating a new record) to open the configuration screen.
3. The configuration is divided into two main sections: General and Template.
Section 1: General
This section allows you to define the main features, prices, and graphic appearance of the card.
Main Details
1. In the Card Title field, enter the name of the package or card.
2. In the Slug field, enter a friendly URL identifier (usually generated automatically from the title).
3. In the Description field, enter a detailed description of the package.
Images and Graphics
1. In the Images section, upload the Preview image (the image that will be shown in the catalog or client area).
2. Upload the Card image. This is the actual background image that will be used for printing or digital display of the card.
Card Text Positioning (Cropping)
After uploading the Card image, the Card Text Position section will appear. Here you must define where the affiliate's data will be placed on the card:
1. For each field (e.g., Affiliate's full name, Affiliate code, Card date, etc.), click on the card image to define the text area.
2. In the Color field above the image, select the text color that will be printed in that area.
3. If you want to remove a selection, click the Remove button in the box footer.
Visibility and Printing Settings
1. Check the Show in client area box if you want the card to be visible to users in their reserved area.
2. In the Print width (mm) field, enter the physical width of the card for printing (the default value is 86 mm).
Prices and Recurrence
1. In the Price field, enter the cost of the package.
2. In the Applied tax field, select the VAT rate or relevant tax.
3. If the package includes recurring payment, check the Enable recurring payment box (under the label Is the package recurring?).
- If you enable recurrence:
- Define the Period duration (value and type: Months or Years).
- Check Enable automatic renewal if the payment should be charged automatically.
- In the Maximum number of renewals field, enter how many times the package can be renewed (enter
0for unlimited renewals). - If a trial period is provided, fill in the fields related to Trial period duration (value and type) and Trial price (use '0' if the trial is free).
Section 2: Template
This section allows you to customize the automatic emails sent to affiliates related to this specific membership.
1. Click on the Template tab to access the section.
2. For each listed template (e.g., new-membership, membership-expiration-reminder, membership-expired):
- If the template is deactivated, click Activate.
- Once activated, you can customize the email content.
Saving
1. After completing all necessary configurations, click the Save changes button (or the equivalent for saving) to make the new card or membership package effective.
