Why do it: You can offer a limited or discounted access period before the user is charged for the full recurring package.
Procedure
1. Log in to the package editing page and make sure you are in the General section.
2. Scroll down to the label Is the package recurring? and check the box Enable recurring payment.
- Activating this option is necessary to view and configure trial period settings.
3. Scroll down until you find the section contained in the yellow warning.
4. Under the label Trial period duration:
a. In the first field, enter the numeric value of the duration (e.g., 7 for 7 days).
b. In the dropdown menu next to it, select the desired time unit (Days, Months, or Years).
5. Under the label Trial price:
a. Enter the price that the user will have to pay for the trial period.
b. If the trial period is free, enter 0.
6. At the end of the configuration, click on the form save button (usually Save or Save changes) to apply the settings.
