In this guide, we will look at how to configure subscriptions within the Framework360 environment.
Firstly, we should navigate to the Payments section of the main menu in Framework360 by following these steps:
Settings > Sales > Payments
Once inside the Payments screen, let's go to the Subscriptions tab as shown in the figure:
Within the Subscriptions section, we can configure Stripe and Paypal as payment methods.
First, we need to check which methods we want to activate (whether just one between Stripe and Paypal or both) and then we must proceed to enter the APIs that will allow integration between Stripe and Paypal platforms and the Framework360 platform.
How to Configure PayPal
Let's now look at how to set up PayPal as a payment method.
After selecting the option Activate PayPal the system will ask us to enter two pieces of information: the Client ID and the Secret Key.
To retrieve the Client ID and Secret Key we will need to go to the link https://developer.paypal.com/ and click on the Get API Credentials button as shown in the figure:
At this point, the system will ask us to log into our Paypal Account. Once inside, we should click on the Live option and then on Create App as shown in the picture:
Once the app is created, we must take the Client ID and the Secret Key and report them back to the Framework360 subscription configuration screen where we were previously.
How to configure Stripe
Let's now see how to set up Stripe as a payment method.
After selecting the Activate Stripe option, the system will ask us to enter two pieces of information: the Public Key and the Secret Key.
To retrieve the Public Key and the Secret Key , we go to the website https://stripe.com/ and click on Login. Once logged in, let's click on the top-right button Developers as shown in the picture:
Now we should go to the left-hand option API Keys as shown in the picture:
At this point, we need to copy the entries Publishable Key and Private Key and paste them into the Framework360 subscription configuration screen we were on before.
