In this guide, we will see how to configure the domain on the FRAMEWORK360 platform.
Let's look at the steps to point your own domain to your FRAMEWORK360 environment.
First, we need to create our environment on FRAMEWORK360.
Once the environment is created, we will need to find our Nameservers and the IP address that are necessary to configure our domain. To do this, we will go to the main menu of FRAMEWORK360 and follow these items:
Settings > Configuration > Website
Once inside the website configuration screen, we will click on the Free Subdomain option, as shown in the previous figure, and our Nameservers and the IP address will appear.
Once we have the Nameservers and the IP address, we are ready to point our domain.
In this guide, we will see how to point your own domain with SiteGround and Aruba.
For all other companies that we will not cover in the video, I recommend getting help from your provider's support team or open a support ticket with us and we will provide assistance. If you still don't know how to open a Support Ticket on FRAMEWORK360, I've made a specific guide about it which you can find by clicking here!
Domain Configuration with SiteGround
We access Siteground, select a domain, and click on Management.
At this point, the screen that will appear should look similar to the following:
Now we should enter the codes found on the FRAMEWORK360 platform for Nameserver 1 and Nameserver 2 into the corresponding fields on the SiteGround screen where it asks us for the Nameserver 1 and Nameserver 2 in the section titled Domain DNS, as shown in the figure:
Finally, we click on Update.
Domain Configuration with Aruba
To perform the same operation on Aruba, we would need to access our Aruba domain and go to the Manage DNS section by following these steps:
Domain Utility > DNS and Name Server Management > Manage DNS > Manage
Once inside, we will find the following screen:
In this screen, we should change the address listed under the entries www and [empty] to the IP address that we found earlier in FRAMEWORK360.
Attention!
By doing so, we would have pointed the A Record to the FRAMEWORK360 platform through its own domain.
I recommend pointing only the A Record in order to keep your email mailboxes directly on your server, so the website will be on the FRAMEWORK360 server, while the email mailboxes will reside together with your domain.
