How to delete an invoice from Zoho Books

This procedure allows you to delete an invoice previously synchronized with Zoho Books directly from the order tab.

Why do it: Deleting the invoice here will remove the document both from your local system and from Zoho Books.

Procedure

1. Access the management panel and navigate to the specific order for which you want to delete the invoice.

2. In the sidebar, look for and click on the section titled Zoho Books (identified by the Zoho icon).

  • Note: This section must show the synchronization status completed (e.g., "Invoice successfully synchronized").

3. In the Actions section, locate and click on the red button: Delete Invoice.

4. A confirmation window will appear with the message: "Are you sure? This will also delete the invoice from Zoho Books if possible."

5. Click OK to confirm deletion.

Once completed, you will receive a success notification ("Document deleted.") and the Zoho Books section of the order will return to its initial state, allowing you to generate a new invoice if necessary.
