How to connect the plugin to Zoho Books (OAuth)

To connect the plugin to your Zoho Books account and enable automatic synchronization of invoices and customers, you need to complete the OAuth authentication process and configure your organization's ID.

Connection Procedure

1. Access the Plugin Settings

Navigate to the plugin management section and open the settings for Zoho Books.

2. Configure the Data Center

Locate the box titled Data Center and select the correct domain for your Zoho account (for example, .eu if your account is European).

3. Start the OAuth Connection

  • In the Connection Status box, verify that the status is "You need to connect your account to proceed."
  • Click on the Connect button.
  • A new window will open redirecting you to Zoho for authorization.

4. Authorize Access on Zoho

  • Log in to your Zoho account (if requested).
  • On the authorization screen, confirm that you want to grant full access to Zoho Books for the plugin.
  • Once authorization is complete, the window will close automatically.

5. Check the Connection Status

  • Return to the plugin settings page.
  • The Connection Status box should now display "The plugin is successfully connected to Zoho Books." and the button will be labeled Connected.

6. Enter the Organization ID

  • Locate the box titled Organization ID.
  • Enter your Zoho organization ID (this ID is required for all API calls).

7. Save Settings

  • Save the changes made to apply the configuration.

Additional Configuration (Optional)

Once connected, you can enable automatic synchronization:

  • Automatic Sending: In the Automatic Sending box, check the option Enable automatic sending to automatically sync paid order invoices to Zoho.
