YouTube Live Integration

Event planning, Management, Privacy, Streaming keys, Account authorization

Description: This module allows you to schedule, manage, and monitor live streaming events on your YouTube channel directly from the Framework360 interface.

What is it for? (Practical examples)

Use the YouTube Live Integration to optimize the management of your real-time video content:

  • Event Scheduling: Schedule webinars, product launches, or Q&A sessions in advance by setting precise titles, descriptions, and start times.
  • Centralized Management: Quickly view the complete list of all live streams that have been scheduled but not yet started.
  • Broadcast Preparation: Immediately obtain the credentials and stream keys needed to connect external software (such as OBS Studio or other encoders) to your scheduled live event.

Main Features

The module offers comprehensive tools for the lifecycle of your live broadcasts:

  • Create and Edit Live Events: Allows you to define a new live event or update the details of an already scheduled stream.
  • Privacy Settings: You can set the privacy status of the live stream (Public, Unlisted, or Private) directly during scheduling.
  • Scheduling Details: Add a title, description, and set the exact date and time for the broadcast to start.
  • Automatic Retrieval of Streaming Keys: The system automatically generates and retrieves the stream keys and server address needed to start the live broadcast from your encoding software.
  • Event Deletion: Allows you to delete scheduled live events that are no longer needed.
  • Automatic Start: Events are configured to start automatically as soon as they receive the signal from the broadcasting software.

How to Configure

To use the live streaming management features, you need to connect and authorize your YouTube account:

1. Google Account Connection: Access the YouTube module configuration section within Framework360.

2. OAuth Authorization: Follow the guided procedure to link your Google account associated with the desired YouTube channel.

3. Grant Permissions: It is essential to grant Framework360 permission to "manage your YouTube account" (including creating and editing live streams). Without this authorization, live stream management will not be possible.

Once authorization is complete, you can start scheduling your live streams directly from the management panel.

Automatic Integrations

  • Centralized Time Management: Live event scheduling uses the time zone configured in the Framework360 system, ensuring that start times are always synchronized with your local settings.
  • Menu Access: The module adds an entry in the main menu for quick access to the list and management of scheduled live streams.
