This guide explains how to configure opening and closing times for each day of the week within the system's main settings.
Where to find the settings:
Access the Settings section and look for the tab related to Working Hours (or "General" if the plugin is integrated into the main settings).
Weekly Hours Configuration
The settings are divided by days of the week, starting from Monday.
To specify the opening hours for a specific day, follow these steps:
1. Locate the Day: Scroll to the block titled with the name of the day you want to modify (e.g., Monday, Tuesday, etc.).
2. Set Full Closure (Optional):
- If the business is completely closed for the entire day, check the box under the label Day Off.
- The checkbox to tick is:
Set as day off. - Note: If you set the day as closed, the time and inheritance options will be automatically hidden.
3. Inherit Hours (Optional):
- If the opening hours are the same as the previous day, you can use the inheritance option (available from Tuesday to Sunday).
- Under the label Inherit from [Previous Day Name], check the box:
Inherit hours from [Previous Day Name]. - Note: If you inherit the hours, you won’t need to manually fill in the Opening and Closing fields.
4. Specify Hours Manually:
- If the day is not closed and does not inherit hours, fill in the opening and closing fields.
- Enter the start time in the Opening field.
- Enter the end time in the Closing field.
> Important Notice: Leave the opening/closing fields empty during rest/closure periods.
5. Add Multiple Time Slots (Split Shift):
- If the business is open in multiple time slots (e.g., morning and afternoon with a lunch break), click the Add time button.
- A new row of Opening and Closing fields will be added to specify the second shift.
6. Save Changes: Once you have specified the hours for all necessary days, make sure to save the general settings.
Holiday Configuration
To specify annual closure dates (such as national holidays or extraordinary closures):
1. In the settings menu, look for the Holidays section.
2. Under the label Select closure days, you can select predefined national holidays or add specific dates (e.g., 25/04).
3. Select the desired dates from the list. The selected dates will be considered full closure days, regardless of the daily hours set.
