Enter the opening hours (for a time slot)

This guide explains how to configure daily working hours, including the possibility of defining multiple time slots (e.g., morning and afternoon separated by a break).

Prerequisite: You must be logged into the general Work Hours settings section.

Procedure to Configure a Time Slot

1. Select the Day: Scroll through the settings page until you find the block related to the day of the week you want to configure (e.g., Monday).

2. Check Closure/Inheritance Status:

  • Make sure that the checkbox under the label Closed Day (with the wording Set as closed day) is NOT selected.
  • If the day is not Monday, also verify that the checkbox under the label Inherit hours from [Previous Day] (if present) is NOT selected; otherwise, you will not be able to enter specific hours.

3. Enter the First Time Slot:

  • In the field under the label Opening, enter the time when the business starts (e.g., 09:00).
  • In the field under the label Closing, enter the time when the business stops for the first time (e.g., 13:00).

4. Add a Second Time Slot (If Necessary):

  • If your business has a break (e.g., lunch break) and reopens, click on the Add time button at the bottom of the hours section.
  • A new row with two fields will be added. Enter the respective re-Opening and final Closing times (e.g., 15:00 and 19:00).

5. Repeat for Additional Time Slots: If needed, you can repeat step 4 to add further time slots.

> Important Note: If you need to close for a period (for example, for a non-recurring holiday or vacation), remember to leave both Opening and Closing fields empty for that specific day, or use the "Set as closed day" function.

Configuring Holidays

If you need to set a closure for a specific date (such as a national holiday or an extraordinary closing day), use the Holidays section at the top of the page:

1. Locate the Holidays section.

2. In the field under the label Select closed days, choose desired dates from the list. You can select from predefined national holidays or pick specific days of the month.

3. The days selected in this section will be marked as closed regardless of any hours set for that corresponding weekday.
