This guide explains how to select or modify product variations (such as size, color, or specific attributes) within your list or cart.
Variations can be selected at two times: when adding a new product or when modifying a product already in the cart.
Scenario A: Modifying an Existing Product in the Cart
If the product has already been added, you can modify its variations directly from the cart table.
1. Locate the product: In the main table showing the products, find the row related to the item you want to modify.
2. Start editing: In the last column of the row, look for the edit buttons section (cart-edit-buttons).
3. Click on the Edit button (identified by a pencil icon: <i class="fa fa-edit"></i>).
4. Select variations: A dedicated window or area will open. Here you can view and select available attributes for the product (for example: "Color: Red", "Size: L").
5. Confirm changes: After choosing the desired variations, save the changes to update the item in the cart.
Once saved, the selected attributes (such as Category, Code, SKU, and specific variations) will appear below the product name in the table, clearly labeled (for example: Color: Red).
Scenario B: Adding a New Product with Variations
If you are adding a new item, variations are selected before the item is inserted into the cart.
1. Search for the product: In the "Add to cart" section (usually located below the cart table), use the search field. The field displays the text Cerca prodotti....
2. Select from the list: Start typing the product name and select it from the dropdown list that appears.
3. Select variations (Popup): After selecting the product, a window (popup) will automatically open asking you to specify variations (Size, Color, etc.) before proceeding with adding.
4. Add to cart: After selecting the required variations, confirm to insert the configured product into the cart.
