What is it for? (Practical examples)
- Gift Management: Allow customers to create a list for birthdays, weddings, or births, ensuring they receive desired gifts without duplicates.
- Sales Increase: Turn items saved by customers into direct sales opportunities, allowing third parties to buy on their behalf.
- Purchase Tracking: Offer customers buying a gift the ability to mark the item as "purchased" or "reserved" to prevent others from buying it.
Main Features
1. List Creation and Sharing
- Personal Wishlist: Each registered customer can access their reserved area to view and manage their wishlist.
- Sharing Link: The system automatically generates a unique link that the customer can share with whoever they want.
- Public List Search: It is possible to configure a public page on the site that allows users to search active wishlists (for example, by searching the name of the celebrant).
2. Managing Products in the List
Both the customer (if authorized) and the administrator can manage products within a list.
- Flexible Addition: You can add existing products from the catalog or insert a custom "New product."
- Product Details: For each item, preview, price, quantity, and total are displayed.
- Variations and Subscriptions: The system correctly handles product variations and warns if multiple subscriptions are attempted in the same order.
3. Gift Status and Duplicate Prevention
When an external user views the list to make a purchase, the system provides tools to coordinate buying:
- Manual Marking: Users can mark a product as:
- Purchased: The item has been bought (and will no longer be available for purchase by others).
- Reserved: The item has been set aside and is intended to be purchased soon.
- Delivered: The item has been physically received by the recipient.
- Status Display: If a product has already been gifted (purchased via a previous order) or reserved, the "Add to cart" button is replaced by a status message ("Item gifted" or "Item reserved").
4. Price Customization
It is possible to set a custom (discounted) price for a specific product within the list. When viewed via the wishlist link, this special price will apply.
How to Configure
Management and configuration of wishlists happen through the Wishlists section in the admin panel.
Administrative List Management
1. Access: Go to the Ecommerce menu and select Wishlists.
2. View: Here you can see all lists created by customers.
3. Edit List: Clicking on a list opens the product management interface (similar to a cart) where you can:
- Add or remove products.
- Modify quantities.
- Add internal notes.
- View totals (Purchased, To Purchase, Cart Total).
Public Page Configuration
The module automatically creates two private pages that can be customized using Visual Builder:

When a user completes payment for an order containing a gift destined for a Wishlist:
- The system automatically sends an email notification to the list owner ("Wishlist - Gift received").
2. Marketing Automations
A specific trigger is available in the Marketing module to start automatic campaigns based on gift purchases.
