Write or edit the content of a message template

This guide explains how to customize the content of a WhatsApp message template (Whatsender) within the system.

Note: Fields labeled with double curly braces (e.g., Message Title) represent the exact names you will see in the interface.

Procedure for Editing the Template

1. Access the Template: Go to the template management section and select the WhatsApp template you want to edit.

2. Set the Title: In the text field labeled Message Title, enter an identifying name for the template. This title is generally used for internal organization.

3. Write the Content: Use the text area labeled Message Content to type the text that will be sent to the recipient.

  • You can use tokens (variables enclosed in curly braces, such as {customer_name}) to personalize the message with recipient data.

4. Manage Custom Token (Optional): If you need to use a specific Whatsender API token different from the default one for this sending, enter it in the Custom Token field. If left empty, the system's default token will be used.

5. Add Attachments (Optional): In the Attachments field, select multimedia files (images or documents) you want to attach to the message.

6. Define Custom Recipients (Optional): If the template must be sent to specific numbers regardless of the default recipient associated with the action, enter phone numbers separated by commas in the Custom Recipient field.

7. Save: Make sure to save changes made to the template before exiting the screen.
