This step-by-step guide will show you how to attach files (images or PDFs) to messages sent via WhatsApp automation.
Note: You are allowed to attach a maximum of 3 files per message. Supported file types are images (JPG, PNG) and PDF documents.
Uploading Attachments for WhatsApp Automation
1. Access the editing section of your WhatsApp automation step.
2. In the settings screen, look for the section titled WhatsApp Settings.
3. Within this section, locate the field labeled Attachments.
4. Click on the upload area (or field) under the Attachments label. Your media library or file selection window will open.
5. Select the files you want to attach. Remember that you can choose:
- Images (JPG or PNG)
- Documents (PDF)
- A maximum of 3 files in total.
6. After selecting the files, confirm your selection. The chosen files will appear in the Attachments field.
7. Complete the message configuration (Title, Content, etc.) and save the automation step to apply the attachments.
