This guide explains how to specify a Whatsender API token that is unique to a particular message template or automation action, overriding the default token set at the system level.
This procedure applies both when editing a message template (Template) and when creating a WhatsApp action within a Marketing automation.
Procedure for Setting the Custom Token
1. Access Template/Action Editing:
Open the message template or Marketing automation action for which you want to set a specific Whatsender token.
2. Locate the Token Field:
Scroll through the message settings until you find the label:
Custom Token
3. Enter the Token:
In the text field under the "Custom Token" label, enter your specific Whatsender token.
Note: If the field is left empty, the default token configured for the entire system will be used. The field placeholder indicates: Use default token.
4. Complete and Save:
After entering the token, complete other message settings (Title, Content, Attachments) and save changes to the template or action.
The system will now use the specified custom token to send messages related to this template or automation action.
