This guide explains how to define who will receive the WhatsApp message within an automation action (Funnel or Workflow).
Step-by-Step Procedure
1. Access or create a WhatsApp automation action.
2. Within the WhatsApp Settings panel, locate the section labeled Recipient.
3. Click on the dropdown menu under the Recipient label and choose one of the following options:
- Default: By selecting this option, the message will be automatically sent to the phone number of the recipient (customer or user) who triggered the automation.
- Custom: By selecting this option, you can manually specify one or more phone numbers.
4. If you selected Custom in the previous step, a new field labeled Custom Recipient will appear.
5. In the Custom Recipient field, enter the phone number(s) to which you want to send the message.
- Note: If you need to enter multiple recipients, make sure they are separated by a comma.
6. Once configuration is complete, save the automation settings.
