This guide explains how to update the details and content of a WhatsApp message sending action already configured within an automation flow.
Editing Procedure
1. Access your automation flow and locate the WhatsApp type action you want to edit.
2. Click on the action to open the configuration window, titled Edit WhatsApp.
3. In the WhatsApp Settings section, you will find the fields to modify:
1. Title and Content
- Message Title: Edit the identifying name of the action (this title is not sent to the customer).
- Message: Use the text area to modify the content of the message that will be sent. You can insert custom Tokens (or shortcodes) listed in the table above this section to include dynamic data (e.g., customer’s name).
2. Recipients and Token
- Recipient: Using the dropdown menu, choose who will receive the message:
- Select Default to send the message to the contact who triggered the automation.
- Select Custom to specify one or more fixed phone numbers.
- If you selected Custom, the Custom Recipient field will appear. Enter here the desired phone numbers, separated by commas (e.g., +39123456789, +39987654321).
- Custom Token: If necessary, enter a specific Whatsender Token that will override the default one for this single action.
3. Attachments
- Attachments: Use this section to upload or remove files (images, PDFs) to be sent along with the message.
4. After making all necessary changes, make sure to save the action to apply updates to the automation flow.
