This guide explains how to enter the authentication token required to link your Whatsender account to the platform, both globally and for individual customized operations.
1. Initial Token Setup (Global Authentication)
The global token is the one used by default for all Whatsender operations unless a custom token is specified.
1. Access the plugin management or configuration section of the platform.
2. Start the authentication procedure (OAuth) for the Whatsender plugin.
3. A window or form will appear for entering credentials. Look for the field labeled:
Token
4. Enter your full Whatsender authentication token.
5. Complete the authentication process to save the token.
Once this procedure is completed, the system will use this token for sending messages and notifications.
2. Entering a Custom Token (Override)
It is possible to specify a different token from the global one when configuring specific templates or Marketing Automation actions. This is useful if you need to use a different Whatsender account only for certain communications.
A. Entry in Templates and Messages
If you are editing a specific Whatsender template or message (for example, via the Email Overwriter):
1. Within the template editing screen, look for the field labeled:
Custom Token
2. Enter here the token you want to use solely for sending this specific message.
- Note: If you leave this field empty, the default token configured globally will be used (as indicated by the placeholder:
Use default token).
B. Entry in Marketing Automation Actions
If you are configuring an automation step "Send WhatsApp message (Whatsender)":
1. Access the automation action settings.
2. In the settings section, look for the field:
Custom Token
3. Enter the specific token for this automation. If you enter nothing, the global token will be used.
