This guide shows you how to set up an action within an automation flow to send automatic messages via WhatsApp.
Procedure
To create your WhatsApp sending action, follow these steps:
1. Select the Send WhatsApp message (Whats2b) action within your automation flow. The WhatsApp Settings section will open.
2. In the Message title field, enter a name that helps you identify this action within your flow.
3. Configure the Recipient of the message:
- Select Default to send the message to the phone number of the contact running the automation.
- Select Custom if you want to send the message to one or more specific numbers. In this case, enter the numbers in the Custom recipient field.
4. In the Message field, write the text that will be sent on WhatsApp.
- Note: The message must be no longer than 1530 characters.
- You can use Shortcodes (variables enclosed in curly braces, shown above the settings section) to personalize the message with recipient data (such as name, email, etc.).
5. In the Attachments section, you can upload up to 3 files to include in the message. Supported files are image files (JPEG, PNG) and PDF documents.
6. After configuring all fields, save the action to add it to your automation flow.
