Why do it: This setting defines whether the WhatsApp message will be sent to the phone number of the contact involved in the automation (Default) or to a specific number you enter (Custom).
Procedure
1. In the WhatsApp Settings section, locate the field labeled Recipient.
2. Click on the dropdown menu to select the recipient type:
Option 1: Default
1. Select the Default option.
- Result: The message will be sent to the primary mobile number associated with the contact who triggers the automation. The Custom Recipient field disappears.
Option 2: Custom
1. Select the Custom option.
- Result: A new field labeled Custom Recipient will immediately appear.
2. In the Custom Recipient field, enter the specific mobile number to which you want to send the message.
- Note: You can enter one or more mobile numbers in this field (for example,
Add mobile number).
