This guide explains how to configure and save the details of a WhatsApp messaging action within an automation flow.
Procedure
1. Action Title
- In the Message Title field, enter a name that helps you identify this action within your marketing campaign.
2. Recipient Configuration
- In the Recipient dropdown menu, choose who to send the message to:
- Select Default to send the message to the contact associated with the action (e.g., the customer who triggered the automation).
- Select Custom to specify a fixed phone number.
- If you selected Custom, the Custom Recipient field will appear. Enter here the phone number(s) (separated by commas) to which you want to send the message.
3. Custom Token (Optional)
- In the Custom Token field, you can enter a specific API token if you do not want to use the default one configured for the Waziper integration. If left empty, the default token will be used.
4. Attachments (Optional)
- In the Attachments field, you can upload media files (JPEG, PNG images or PDF documents) to send along with the message. You can upload up to 3 attachments.
5. Message Content
- In the Message field, write the text that will be sent on WhatsApp.
- Tip: You can use shortcodes listed in the table above (if present) to customize the message with specific customer data (such as name, email, etc.).
6. Saving
- Once all fields are configured, click on the save button (usually labeled Save or Update depending on the automation context) to apply the WhatsApp action settings.
