Why do it: To configure which WhatsApp message (Wati Template) is automatically sent when a specific event occurs in the system (Webhook).
This procedure applies to configuring automatic events (Webhooks) within the Wati plugin settings.
Procedure
1. Locate the category of events you are interested in (for example, the Ibox section containing the desired event). If the section is collapsed, click the arrow icon to expand it.
2. Find the specific event (Webhook) you want to configure (identified by its title, for example [CLIENTE] Nuovo ordine).
3. Click the checkbox next to the event title to enable tracking and sending of the WhatsApp message. This will expand the event settings.
4. Within the event settings, look for the section labeled Seleziona template.
5. Click on the dropdown menu below and choose the exact name of the Wati template you wish to send in response to this event.
> Note: Once you select the template, the right-hand section titled Assegnazione shortcode will automatically update, showing the fields necessary to map Wati template variables with data available in the system.
6. Complete shortcode assignment if needed.
