Save WhatsApp message configuration settings

Content:

This guide explains how to configure and save the settings of a WhatsApp message within an automation flow.

Procedure

1. In the WhatsApp Settings section, enter an identifying name in the Message Title field.

2. Configure the Recipient of the message:

  • Select the desired option from the dropdown menu. The Default option sends the message to the user's main contact.
  • If you select Custom, the Custom Recipient field will appear. Enter here the specific phone number (or numbers separated by commas) to which you want to send the message.

3. In the Select template field, choose the pre-approved WhatsApp template you want to use for sending.

4. In the Shortcode Assignment section:

  • If the selected template contains variables (shortcodes, e.g., nome), fields will appear to assign a value to each variable.
  • For each variable, select from the dropdown menu the value you want to send (for example, a Specific value linked to the action, a Standard value linked to the user, or a Static value).
  • If you choose Static value, a text field will appear where you can type the custom text to send.

5. Once configuration is complete, click on the save button (usually called Save or Confirm), located outside of the settings area, to save the action and apply changes.
