This guide explains how to select a specific Video Course within the system configuration areas, such as Visual Builder blocks, Protected Content settings, or Marketing Triggers.
1. Simple Video Course Selection (Configuration)
This procedure is typical when you need to assign a single Video Course to a block or an access rule (e.g., Protected Content).
Why do it
To specify which Video Course should be displayed or to which rule the restriction applies.
Procedure
1. Access the configuration section (for example, the settings of a block in the Visual Builder or the Protected Content settings).
2. Locate the label Seleziona video corso (or Seleziona video-corso).
3. Click on the associated selection field. This field may already contain a name or be empty.
4. A search window will open. Search for and select the desired Video Course.
5. Once selected, the name of the Video Course will appear in the field.
6. Click Save (or apply changes) to confirm the selection.
2. Detailed Selection of Video Course and Lesson (Marketing Trigger)
This procedure is used to define conditions for a Marketing Trigger (for example, "Lesson started" or "Lesson completed"), where it is necessary to specify both the course and optionally a specific lesson.
Why do it
To start a marketing automation only when the user interacts with a specific Video Course or Lesson.
Procedure
1. Access the Marketing Trigger configuration (e.g., "Lesson started" or "Lesson completed").
2. In the configuration section, locate and complete the first field:
a. Look for the label Seleziona video corso.
b. Click on the selection field to open the search window.
c. Select the desired Video Course and confirm.
3. After selecting the Video Course, a second field for lesson selection will appear.
a. Look for the label Seleziona lezione.
b. Click on the dropdown menu.
c. If you want the trigger to activate for any lesson within the selected course, choose the option Qualsiasi video.
d. If you want to select a specific lesson, scroll through the list. Lessons are organized by section (visible as groups in the dropdown menu).
e. Click on the name of the desired lesson.
4. Once you have completed selecting the Video Course and Lesson (if specified), proceed to save the Trigger configuration.
