Enable the selection of the reference user during registration

Why do it

Allows new users to specify their reference person (tutor) directly when creating their account.


Procedure

1. Access the plugin management section and open the settings of the Reference User plugin.

2. Make sure the system is active: under the label Enable reference user system, select the Active option.

3. Scroll down to the Preferences section.

4. Look for the checkbox next to the label Enable selection during registration and check it.

5. (Optional) If you want the selection of the reference user to be mandatory for specific roles, use the Mandatory for levels field and select the desired user levels.

6. (Optional) If you want to hide the reference user selection option for specific roles, use the Hidden for levels field and select the desired user levels.

7. Save changes to apply the settings.
