Specify a custom API token (for both templates and actions)

You can specify a different API token than the default one configured in the plugin, both for individual notification templates and for actions within marketing automations.

If the field is left empty, the default token configured in the plugin's general settings will be used.

1. Specifying the Token in a Template (Overwriter)

This procedure applies when you are editing a specific notification template (e.g., new order notification, cart recovery, etc.).

1. Access the edit section of the desired WhatsApp template.

2. Locate the field labeled Custom Token.

3. Enter the specific API token you want to use for all sends generated by this template.

  • Note: The placeholder indicates "Use default token" if the field is empty.

4. Save the template changes.

2. Specifying the Token in a Marketing Automation Action

This procedure applies when you are configuring a "Send WhatsApp message" action within a Marketing Automation campaign.

1. Access the edit section of the Marketing Automation action of type "Send WhatsApp message."

2. In the WhatsApp Settings section, find the field labeled Custom Token.

3. Enter the specific API token you want to use for this single action.

  • Note: The placeholder indicates "Use default token" if the field is empty.

4. Save the Marketing Automation action.
