This guide explains how to define who will receive the WhatsApp message configured in the action (for example, a default recipient or specific numbers).
Procedure
1. Access the WhatsApp send action configuration (within the Automations or Marketing section).
2. Locate the WhatsApp Settings section.
3. Find the field labeled Recipient.
4. Click on the dropdown menu to choose the recipient type:
- Default: Select this option if the message should be sent automatically to the contact associated with the action (for example, the customer who completed a purchase).
- Custom: Select this option if you want to send the message to specific phone numbers, regardless of the contact that triggered the action.
5. If you chose Custom, a new field called Custom Recipient will immediately appear.
6. In the Custom Recipient field, enter the phone numbers. If you need to specify multiple recipients, separate them using a comma. The placeholder text is Add mobile number.
7. Once configuration is complete, save the entire action to apply changes. (The save button is usually located at the bottom of the page or in the sidebar).
