Save the template or marketing action configuration

This guide explains how to save changes made both to WhatsApp notification templates (used for automatic communications) and to WhatsApp actions within Marketing Automation campaigns.

Saving the WhatsApp Template Configuration (Notifications)

Why do this: After modifying the content, recipients, or token of a predefined notification template, you need to save the changes to make them effective.

Procedure:

1. Access the template or notifications management section of the system.

2. Locate and open the notification template associated with Uozap (WhatsApp).

3. Fill in or modify the following fields according to your needs:

  • Message Title: Enter an internal title to identify the message.
  • Custom Token: Enter a specific token if you do not want to use the default one.
  • Message Content: Write or edit the text that will be sent to the recipient.
  • Attachments: Add any multimedia files to attach to the message.
  • Custom Recipient: Specify specific recipients (separated by commas) if the template should not use the default recipient.

4. Once modifications are complete, look for the save button (usually located at the top or bottom of the page) and click Save (or Save Changes).

Saving the Marketing Action Configuration (Automation)

Why do this: When you create or modify the "Send WhatsApp Message" action within a Funnel or Marketing Automation Campaign, you must save the action details to integrate it into the flow.

Procedure:

1. Access your Marketing Automation Campaign and open the details of the "Send WhatsApp Message" action you want to configure or modify.

2. In the WhatsApp Settings section, fill in the following fields:

  • Title: Assign a name to the action (useful for internal identification).
  • Recipient: Select "Default" or "Custom."
  • If you choose "Custom," the Custom Recipient field will appear where you can enter phone numbers (separated by commas).
  • Custom Token: Enter a specific token if sending must occur through a device other than the default one.
  • Attachments: Upload multimedia files (images, PDFs) to attach to the message.
  • Message: Write the content of the WhatsApp message. You can use available shortcodes to customize the text.

3. After verifying all settings, look for the action’s save button (this button is not part of the form but provided by the main interface) and click Save (or Save Action).
