This guide shows you how to set specific phone numbers that will receive messages generated from a template, in addition to or instead of the default recipient (the customer).
Procedure (Template Configuration)
1. Access the WhatsApp template management section.
2. Select the template you want to modify.
3. Scroll down to find the section that includes the fields Attachments and Custom Recipient.
4. In the field labeled Custom Recipient, enter the phone numbers that should receive the message.
5. Make sure to separate each number with a comma.
> Example: 393331234567, 393339876543, 393330001112
6. Save the changes to the template.
Procedure (Marketing Automation Step Configuration)
If you are setting up an automation step that sends a WhatsApp message (for example, in a Funnel or a Campaign), the procedure to set the custom recipient is slightly different:
1. In the WhatsApp Settings section, locate the Recipient field.
2. Click on the dropdown menu and select the Custom option.
3. A new field labeled Custom Recipient will appear.
4. Enter the desired phone numbers in this field, separating them with commas.
5. Save the automation step.
