Manage attachments (selection or upload) for templates and actions

This guide explains how to attach files, such as documents or images, both to predefined templates and to specific actions within automation flows.


1. Managing Attachments in Templates

Use this procedure to configure attachments that will be sent automatically with a predefined template (for example, an order confirmation message).

Procedure

1. Access the template management section (Templates).

2. Select the template you want to modify.

3. Scroll down until you find the Attachments label.

4. Click inside the text field under the Attachments label. This will open the media library.

5. Select the desired files from the existing library or upload new files from your computer.

6. After selecting the files, make sure to click the Save button of the template to apply the changes.

2. Managing Attachments in Marketing Actions

Use this procedure to add attachments to a specific action within an automation flow (for example, "Send WhatsApp message").

Why do it:

Attachments allow you to send multimedia content like images or PDFs along with the text message.

Procedure

1. Access the Automations management section and edit the desired WhatsApp action.

2. In the edit screen, locate the Attachments label (found in the left column, under Custom Token).

3. Click on the upload area associated with Attachments.

4. The media library will open for file selection.

  • Format note: The following file types are supported: JPG images, PNG images, and PDF documents.
  • Limit: You can upload up to 3 attachments per action.

5. Select the files you wish to attach.

6. Click the button to Save the action and apply the attachments.
