This guide describes how to set up an automated action for sending WhatsApp messages within a Marketing flow or Automation.
Procedure
1. Log in to your marketing automation tool and select the option to add a new action.
2. Choose the action Send WhatsApp message (Uozap).
3. The WhatsApp Settings screen will open.
Basic Configuration
1. In the Title field, enter an identifying name for this specific action (e.g., "Order Confirmation Sending").
2. In the Message field, write the content of the text that will be sent.
- Note: The message should not exceed 1530 characters.
3. If necessary, you can use Shortcodes (dynamic variables such as {nome_cliente}) listed in the table to personalize the message content according to the recipient.
Recipient Definition
1. In the Recipient field, choose how to identify who will receive the message:
- Select Default to send the message to the phone number associated with the recipient executing the automation.
- Select Custom if you need to specify one or more fixed phone numbers.
2. If you selected Custom, the Custom Recipient field will appear. Enter here the desired phone numbers, separated by commas.
Advanced Settings (Optional)
1. In the Custom Token field, you can enter a specific code if you want this message to be sent via a device or WhatsApp account different from the default one configured in the system.
2. In the Attachments section, you can upload media files to include in the message.
- Supported file types are image files (JPEG, PNG) and documents (PDF).
- You can attach up to 3 files.
Conclusion
1. After filling out all required fields, click on the save button (usually Save or Confirm) to activate the action within your automation flow.
