Define the name to display as the author in tickets (User Profile Management)

Why do it:

This name will be shown as the author of the messages you send within support tickets, allowing you to use a name different from your default first and last name.


Procedure

1. Access the user profile management section.

2. Locate and click on the tab titled Ticket.

3. In the displayed section, look for the field labeled Display name in tickets.

4. Enter the name you want to be shown as the author of your messages in tickets.

  • Note: If you leave this field empty, the system will automatically use your default first and last name (as indicated by the hint: Leave empty to use first and last name).

5. Click the save button (usually Save or Save changes) to apply the change to your profile.
