Telegram

Channel linking, automatic messages, notifications, automations, customization, interactivity

Description: Allows you to connect Telegram groups and channels to the platform to send notifications, automatic messages, and direct communications.

What is it for? (Practical examples)

Use the Telegram tool to automate communication with your users or your team:

  • Internal Notifications: Send an automatic alert to an internal Telegram channel whenever a customer makes a purchase or fills out an important form.
  • Marketing and Promotions: Schedule promotional messages or product updates directly to your public channel or VIP groups.
  • Automatic Follow-ups: Include sending a Telegram message as an action within a marketing funnel to interact with the user after a specific action.

Main features

  • Connection of Groups and Channels: Allows you to connect one or more Telegram groups or channels to the platform for centralized message management.
  • Sending Personalized Messages: You can create dynamic messages using placeholder fields (shortcodes) that are automatically replaced with recipient data (e.g., name, order details).
  • Integration in Automations: Sending a message can be set as an action within Marketing Automation and Autopost workflows.
  • Text Formatting: Supports basic text formatting (bold, italic) within the message.
  • Interactivity (Advanced): If needed, you can include interactive buttons within the message to receive responses or direct the user to specific actions.

How to configure

To send messages, you must first connect your Telegram group or channel to the platform.

Steps for connection

1. Add the Bot: Make sure the platform’s official bot, @framework360_bot, is added as a member (or administrator) of the group or channel you want to connect.

2. Generate the Connection Code: Access the configuration section of the Telegram module. Here you will find a unique code, for example: connect-123-abcde.

3. Send the Code: Write and send the unique connection code directly in the public chat of the group/channel.

4. Confirm: The platform will send a confirmation message to the group indicating that the connection was successful.

5. Selection: Reload the configuration screen so you can select the newly connected group in the automatic sending options.

Automatic integrations

The Telegram module integrates directly with the platform's Marketing and Scheduling tools.

Sending via Marketing Automations

When creating a Marketing funnel, you can add a specific step for sending a Telegram message.

Options available in the Automation step:

1. Group / Channel: Select from the dropdown list the previously connected Telegram group or channel that will receive the message.

2. Message: Enter the content of the message.

  • Note: The message cannot exceed 1530 characters.

3. Shortcodes: Use available dynamic placeholders (visible in a table on the side) to automatically insert specific data about the recipient or campaign.

Sending via Autopost

If you use the Autopost feature to schedule content, you can set up sending a Telegram message at a specific time or based on scheduled events. Configuration options (Group/Channel and Message) are the same as those used in Marketing Automations.
