Description: Allows you to upload and organize documents, videos, and audio files that need to be made available to internal staff.
What is it for? (Practical examples)
This tool is essential for centralizing your team's knowledge and operational materials.
- Internal training: Upload tutorial videos or audio recordings for onboarding new employees or professional development.
- Company documentation: Distribute operation manuals, internal policies, price lists, or PDF forms that staff need to consult regularly.
- Multimedia library: Create an easily navigable archive of support materials, divided by topic or department.
Main features
The module is divided into two main areas for content management and consultation:
- Resource groups management:
- Allows you to create, edit, and delete categories (groups) to organize resources logically (e.g., "Sales Manuals," "IT Procedures," "HR Training").
- Each group can be associated with a specific position in the navigation menu.
- Multimedia resources management:
- Allows you to create new resource entries and associate them with one or more groups.
- Supports inserting different types of content: Documents (PDFs, generic files), Videos (internal or external), and Audio.
- You can upload a preview image for each resource to facilitate visual identification.
- Includes an advanced editor for drafting detailed descriptions or complex text content associated with the resource.
How to configure it
Configuration takes place through hierarchical content creation:
1. Create Groups: Access the "Resource Groups" section and define the categories you will use. When creating a group, specify the desired position in the main navigation menu.
2. Insert Resources: Access "Multimedia Resources" to upload your files or insert links to external videos.
3. Association: When creating a resource, make sure to associate it with the relevant Group(s).
Automatic integrations
The "Staff Resources" module automatically integrates with the control panel user interface to facilitate staff access to materials.
Automatic menu organization
Once groups and resources have been created and activated, the system automatically generates new entries in the main navigation menu, positioning them according to the settings defined in each group.
These menu entries are automatically divided by content type within each group:
- Entries for consulting Documents (PDFs and files).
- Entries for consulting Videos (internal and external).
- Entries for consulting Audio files.
This ensures that staff can quickly find the desired type of material without manually filtering content.
