This procedure allows you to simulate the shipping costs for the selected order and confirm the creation of the shipment with the chosen courier.
Procedure
1. Access the order detail tab for which you want to create the shipment.
2. In the shipping section, click on the button:
Create shipment
> Note: If this is the first time you are creating a shipment for this order, the system will perform a simulation to calculate the available rates.
3. A window titled Select courier will appear. This window shows the available shipping options calculated based on the order data and product dimensions.
4. Inside the window, select the desired courier from the dropdown menu. Each option shows:
- The name of the courier and the cost.
- The Expected Delivery date.
5. After selecting the courier, click on the button:
Confirm shipment
6. Wait for the system to process the request. Once creation is complete, you will receive a notification:
"Shipment generated successfully."
The shipment is now created and the area dedicated to the order will update to show the shipment status.
