This tool is essential for those managing sales and shipments in volume, reducing manual errors and speeding up the logistics process.
- Quick Generation: Creates a shipping quote and generates the final label directly from each sales order page.
- Centralized Tracking: Automatically synchronizes delivery status (e.g., in transit, delivered) by updating the order status in your management system.
- Accurate Data: Allows you to save the physical dimensions of each product, ensuring accurate cost simulations and preventing issues with the courier.
Main Features
Product Dimensions Management
To ensure accurate shipping simulations, it is necessary to define the physical dimensions of each item:
- Access the edit page of a Product.
- You will find a dedicated section where you can enter Length, Width, and Height (in centimeters).
Shipment Creation and Management (Sales Area)
Within the detail page of each sales order, there is a panel dedicated to Spediamopro:
- Courier Simulation and Selection: By clicking on Create shipment, the system automatically calculates available quotes based on addresses and product dimensions included in the order. If multiple options are available, you will be asked to select your preferred courier and confirm.
- Cancellation: If the shipment has not yet been completed or is in draft status, you can use the Delete shipment button to cancel it.
- External Completion: If the shipment has been created but requires additional details or payment, the system provides a direct link to the Spediamopro platform via the Complete shipment button.
Status Display in List
In your general sales list, an additional column clearly indicates whether the order has been Sent via Spediamopro or Not sent.
How to Configure
The integration requires authentication through an API code provided by Spediamopro.
1. Authcode Entry: During the initial plugin setup, you will be prompted to enter the Authcode (API key) provided by your Spediamopro account.
2. Mandatory Company Data: For the system to correctly create shipments (identifying the sender), it is essential that your Company billing data is complete. Make sure that the following fields are filled out in Settings > Configuration > Billing Data:
- Company name, Address, City, ZIP code, Country.
- Sender’s Phone number and Email (required by the courier).
Automatic Integrations
The plugin works in the background to keep data updated between your management system and the shipping platform.
Automatic Status Synchronization
The system performs scheduled automatic operations that check the progress status of created shipments.
- Order Status Update: When shipment status changes (e.g., from "In transit" to "Delivered"), the sales order status is updated automatically.
- Tracking: Tracking information and courier name are automatically saved within the order’s shipping data.
- Issue Management: In case of delivery problems (e.g., "Delivery failed" or "Shipment issue"), the order is automatically tagged with a specific label to facilitate your management.
