This feature allows you to automatically calculate the product price based on the dimensions (Width and Height) entered by the user, applying the square meter price defined for the base product.
Procedure
1. Access the configuration of the product you wish to modify.
2. Go to the Calcolatore metri quadri tab (identified by the icon <i class="fa fa-meter"></i>).
3. Locate the section titled Abilitazione.
Enable/Disable
4. To enable the square meter calculation feature, check the box next to Abilita pagamento al metro quadro.
- Note: When this feature is enabled, configuration sections for Width and Height will automatically appear.
5. To disable the feature, make sure that the Abilita pagamento al metro quadro box is unchecked.
Unit of Measurement Configuration (If Enabled)
6. If the feature is enabled, below the checkbox use the dropdown menu Seleziona l'unità di misura to choose the unit of measurement users should use to enter dimensions:
- Metri
- Centimetri
Dimension Configuration (If Enabled)
7. Scroll down to configure parameters for Larghezza and Altezza. These fields define limits and default values that users can enter:
- Enter a value in Minimo to set the minimum allowed dimension.
- Enter a value in Massimo to set the maximum allowed dimension.
- Enter a value in Valore Predefinito which will appear first to the customer.
- Check the box Valore non modificabile if you do not want customers to change the dimension (the field will be read-only).
8. After completing your changes, click on the product save button to apply the configuration.
> Important Information: The price per square meter will be inherited from the base product price or from the selected variant.
