This guide shows you how to connect your Framework360 account to Smartygest and activate data synchronization flows.
1. Initial Connection via API Key
To start synchronization, you need to authenticate Framework360 using the API key provided by Smartygest.
Procedure
1. Log in to your Smartygest management system and retrieve your Api Key.
2. In the Framework360 control panel, navigate to the Smartygest plugin configuration section (usually under Integrations or Plugins).
3. In the field labeled Api Key, paste the key you retrieved from Smartygest.
4. Click the button to confirm authentication. The system will perform an automatic check (check()) to verify that the key is valid.
If the connection is successful, Framework360 will save the credentials and you can proceed with configuring the synchronization flows.
2. Configuration of Synchronization Settings (Webhook)
After establishing the connection, you must specify which data should be synchronized and in which direction.
Why do this
Activating Webhooks ensures that data is exchanged automatically between the two systems (Framework360 and Smartygest).
Procedure
1. Within the Smartygest plugin settings in Framework360, navigate to the Synchronization or Webhook section.
2. You will find different categories of data that can be synchronized. For each, you can enable inbound (IN) or outbound (OUT) flow.
A. Order Synchronization
This section manages order transfers.
| Synchronization Type | Description | Action |
|---|---|---|
| Framework360 => Smartygest | Creates a copy of orders received on Framework360 also in Smartygest. | Enable the option for outbound synchronization (OUT). |
> Note: Order synchronization is unidirectional (OUT) and is activated only for paid orders or with payment method "cash on delivery".
B. Product Synchronization
This section manages product updates.
| Synchronization Type | Description | Action |
|---|---|---|
| Smartygest => Framework360 | Synchronizes products from Smartygest to Framework360. | Enable the option for inbound synchronization (IN). |
> Note: Product synchronization is bidirectional, but currently the automatic update flow (Webhook) supports only import from Smartygest to Framework360 (IN). The Framework360 system also performs a periodic fetch to retrieve updated products every 5 minutes.
3. After selecting the desired options (enabling necessary IN/OUT synchronizations), click the Save button (or equivalent) to apply changes.
Once saved, automatic synchronization will be active. The system will use an internal queue (queue) to efficiently manage data exchanges.
