How to view the details of export errors

This guide explains how to view detailed messages generated during an attempt to export an item (such as a customer or a product) to Shopify.

Export errors are automatically displayed in a summary window at the end of the process.

How to view the details of export errors

Follow these steps to start exporting an item and view the final report:

1. Access the module containing the item you want to export (for example, the Customers list or the Products list).

2. Locate the specific item in the list.

3. In the actions column, click on the dropdown menu and select the Send to option.

4. Click on Shopify to start the synchronization process.

5. Wait for the progress bar to complete the export.

6. At the end, a modal window titled Export completed will appear.

7. At the top of the window, you can view a summary of items:

  • Sent: The number of items successfully synchronized.
  • Not sent: The number of items for which the export failed.

8. If the count of "Not sent" items is greater than zero, scroll down in the window. You will find the Error details: section, where specific messages that prevented synchronization will be listed.
