Enable product synchronization

This guide is intended for users who want to activate the automatic exchange of product data between the Framework360 environment and their Shopify store.

The configuration can be found in the settings section of the Shopify plugin.

1. Access the Plugin Settings

  • In your control panel, navigate to the section dedicated to installed Plugins or Apps.
  • Select the Shopify plugin.

2. Open the Synchronization Section

  • Within the Shopify plugin settings, look for and click on the tab or section named Synchronization (or Webhooks).

3. Locate Product Synchronization

  • Scroll through the list of available synchronization options (Orders, Customers, Products).
  • Find the section titled: Synchronize products.

(Description: Synchronizes products between Framework360 and Shopify).

4. Enable General Synchronization

  • Make sure that the main switch (or checkbox) next to Synchronize products is turned on.

5. Configure Synchronization Directions

  • Inside the "Synchronize products" section, you will find options to define data flow:
  • Shopify => Framework360 (IN): Enable this option to import products created or updated on Shopify into Framework360.
  • Framework360 => Shopify (OUT): Enable this option to export products created or updated on Framework360 to Shopify.
  • Enable both directions to ensure full bidirectional exchange.

6. Save Changes

  • Once you have configured the desired options, click the Save (or Update Settings) button to apply the changes.

Product synchronization is now active. Updates and product creations will occur automatically based on the directions you have enabled.

Note on Manual Export

If you want to force sending a specific product from Framework360 to Shopify, you can do so directly from the product list:

1. Go to your product list in the E-commerce module.

2. Find the Shopify column (it might be represented by an icon or label).

3. For the product you want to synchronize, click on the action button (often represented by three dots or a dropdown menu).

4. In the menu, select Send to, then choose Shopify.

The product will be queued for immediate export. A label in the Shopify column will indicate its synchronization status.
