Configure the sorting and limitation of Service lists (by Date, Name, or Price)

Content:

This guide explains how to define the display order and the maximum number of items shown in the block listing the services.

Procedure

1. Open the settings of the Services block (or the block displaying the list of services).

2. In the settings panel, locate and click on the accordion titled Sort.

3. In the Sort by field, select the main criterion for sorting the list:

  • Date: Sort services based on their creation date.
  • Name: Sort services alphabetically by their name.
  • Price: Sort services based on their price.

4. In the Order field, choose the sorting direction:

  • Select Descending to sort from highest to lowest value (e.g., from newest to oldest, or from Z to A, or from highest to lowest price).
  • Select Ascending to sort from lowest to highest value.

5. In the Limit field, enter the maximum number of services you want to display in the list. If left empty, the default limit will apply (usually 15).

6. (Optional) In the Offset field, enter a number if you want to skip the first N services in the list. For example, entering 5 will start displaying services from the sixth item onward.

7. Save the block settings to apply your chosen sorting and limiting options.
