This procedure allows you to define how dishes should be sorted within a list block (for example, by price or date added).
1. Within the block configuration panel, click on the Sort header to expand the section.
2. In the Sort by field, select the desired sorting criterion:
- Default: Sorts dishes based on the manual order set in the backend.
- Date added: Sorts dishes based on the date they were created.
- Price: Sorts dishes based on their price.
3. In the Order field, select the sorting direction:
- Ascending: Sorts from lowest to highest value (e.g., A-Z, 1-10, oldest date).
- Descending: Sorts from highest to lowest value (e.g., Z-A, 10-1, most recent date).
4. (Optional) You can limit the number of displayed dishes by modifying the Limit field or skip the first dishes by modifying the Offset field.
5. Click Save or Apply (depending on the context) to make the changes effective.
